Chattahoochee Valley Beekeepers Association
Born to make honey. Come bee a part of our journey.
Our Mission
To educate and further the local beekeeping community by partnering with local institutions and mentoring and educating new and seasoned beekeepers.
We partner with Columbus State University and Oxbow Meadows to provide yearly beekeeping workshops, honey extraction demos, and provide our members with networking and learning opportunities.
Lectures, workshops and classes are offered to members of the club.
We meet once a month to discuss club news, host a lecturer, gear raffles, socializing, and knowledge transfer. Meetings are once a month, on the second Monday, at either Oxbow Meadows or Striplin Terrance Church.
Club members can rent select honey extraction equipment owned by the club.
The club assists members and graduates from our beekeeping courses in finding and purchasing bees in packages and NUCs that are local to our region to ensure success.
How we serve our members
There are a large number of benefits that come with being a CVBA member. Signing up is easy. Feel free to join us at a meeting to sign up or email us a completed application.
